The long-awaited sequel to the 2006 smash hit, “The Devil Wears Prada,” has finally arrived.

Protagonist Andy Sachs, played by Anne Hathaway, is about to accept a journalism award when she finds out that she’s been laid off and the company is moving in a different direction. The owner of legendary fashion magazine Runway hires Andy back as a features editor after a video of her rant about the decline of journalism goes viral. Runway, once a titan of the fashion industry, is crumbling. Although Andy is excited to return to the magazine, her comeback is met with confusion from both former boss Miranda Priestly—played by Meryl Streep—and Miranda’s right-hand man, Nigel, played by Stanley Tucci. Apparently, neither had been told of Andy’s return.

Emily Blunt reprises her role as Emily, Andy’s old Runway cohort. No longer a lowly assistant, Emily has moved up through the ranks of the fashion industry in the second film, showing huge character development.

Not only was the acting superb, but the film overall was amazing from top to bottom. The wardrobe, the story, everything.

If you were a fan of the first film, you will absolutely love the sequel.
