The water cooler in Lisa O’Halloran’s office. (Noah Schmidt)

Tired of lukewarm water from campus refill stations? Want cold water but don’t want to waste single-use plastic? Here’s where to find refreshing, cold water on campus.
Three water coolers are located in Upper Commons, two on the top floor and one on the ground floor. On the top floor, head to the Student Engagement Office to refill your bottle. You’ll find Asher and Sharon there.
If you’re meeting with Chris LeBeau, Sara-Ann Semodo, or a part-time advisor, you can refill your bottle in the Advising Center.
If you’ve lost something valuable—keys, a wallet, phone, or laptop—there’s a good chance campus security has it. Head to the “Nautical Nook,” located near the security office, to claim your lost item and fill your bottle. For those with stainless steel bottles, like a Yeti, stop by the ice machine there to keep your water cold longer.
Affiliated with WKKL or an advisee of Professor Z? You’ll find a water cooler just inside and outside the radio station.
Finally, if you frequent the Wilkens Library Learning Commons or print papers often, head to the office of Lisa O’Halloran, coordinator of academic support services. There is a water cooler in the corner behind her door.
