Cape Cod Community College invites community members to take part in its third annual Celebration of Wreaths. Both an exhibition and fundraiser, the event will run from Dec. 2-10 to support the Cape Cod Community College Educational Foundation.
“Wreath-making is open to all, including students, faculty, staff, and community members,” event host Samantha Ricciardi said. Wreaths are due in late November.
Beginning Dec. 2, “wreaths will brighten the Tilden Arts Lobby,” Ricciardi said. Bidding starts at $35 and remains open through 6 p.m. Dec. 10. The event concludes that evening with a reception when winners may pick up their wreaths “to enjoy for the holiday season,” Ricciardi said.
All funds raised during the event will benefit the Cape Cod Community College Educational Foundation which supports the 4Cs community “by raising and managing funds, encouraging endowments, and advancing the college’s mission,” Ricciardi said.
Making a wreath is a “fun and meaningful way to engage with the community and support both the college and the foundation,” Ricciardi added. “We encourage everyone to attend, admire the beautiful wreaths, and perhaps place a bid to bring one home and support the college community.”
