The MainSheet is Cape Cod Community College’s own entirely student-run newspaper. It is comprised of students from the classes Journalism 1 (ENL 161), Journalism 2 (ENL 163), those perusing independent study, and volunteer staff; it is advised by Professor Kerry Drohan of the Language and Literature Department. Consisting of college news, world events, sports, op/eds, students life/human interest, and advertising, the MainSheet is organized and operated in the same manner and utilizes the same technology found at professional newspaper institutions. Dedicated to keeping the student body and 4Cs community informed, the MainSheet is published weekly by Lujean Printing Company, and delivered to hotspots around campus and other 4Cs educational centers every Tuesday afternoon. The paper is freely available to all.

Would you like your work published? The MainSheet welcomes story ideas, articles, letters, opinions, photographs, drawings, cartoons, infographics, and other contributions. To purchase ad space, to send any work, or to obtain a list of guidelines, feel free to email  us at editor@capecod.edu

The MainSheet office is located in the Wilkens Library (4Cs West Barnstable campus) on the lower level, Room GC-15. New members are always welcome. Sign up on the website to receive the Mainsheet’s top stories every week right in your email.
