Hamilton, SGA adviser, complimented the SGA on its recent handling of the leadership transition.

“I am proud of this SGA for following protocol while continuing to represent the students of 4Cs,” she said. “It is a big responsibility, and they have stepped up to the challenge.”

Upon taking on the role of acting president, Dankese, also a reporter for The MainSheet, said she wants the SGA to serve 4Cs students “as best as possible.” She is running for student body president.

“I want to be the boots on the ground running and make SGA focus on the student experience.”

The MainSheet reached out to DeSouza for comment, but did not receive a reply.
