Planning to further your education after your time at 4Cs? If you’re considering transferring in Spring or Fall 2025, or in a later semester, the 4Cs Transfer Fair could be an important step in your journey.
The fair will take place on Oct. 15 and 16 in Grossman Commons from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event, hosted by the 4Cs Academic Advising Department, will feature a rotating list of colleges and universities from across New England, with representation from five out of six New England states. A school from New York City will also be present.
“The Transfer Fair is an invaluable opportunity for students to explore their academic futures,” said Althea Adlien-Wilks, 4Cs coordinator of transfer and articulation agreements. “It allows them to connect directly with admissions representatives, ask important questions, and discover which four-year institutions align best with their goals. Attending the fair can be the first step toward making informed decisions and creating a clear path to completing their degree.”
Watch your email and campus posters for a complete list of participating institutions. Schools from Massachusetts will include most of the colleges in the MassTransfer system, including the four UMass campuses: Amherst, Boston, Dartmouth, and Lowell. State universities such as Bridgewater, Fitchburg, Framingham, Salem, and Worcester will also be in attendance.
Massachusetts colleges offering specialized programs—such as Massachusetts College of Art and Design, Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, Massachusetts Maritime Academy, and the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences—will be represented as well.
Even if you’re not planning to transfer right away, attending the fair is a great opportunity to explore your options and learn more about four-year schools throughout New England.
